For the past 10 years, on a yearly basis, VASS Lawyers has been invited by the prestigious publication International Comparative Legal Guide (ICLG) to write and publish the chapter referring to the public procurement system in Romania, within the volumes “Public Procurement – Practical cross-border insights into public procurement”.
VASS Lawyers’ team thus shared its expertise and knowledge in public procurement by drawing up the chapter on public procurement in Romania, covering issues related to the application of the law to entities and contracts, award procedures, exclusions and exemptions, remedies, changes during and after a procedure, privatisations and PPPs. The Volume “Public Procurement 2023” covers common issues in public procurement laws and regulations – including application of the law to entities and contracts, award procedures, exclusions and exemptions in 16 jurisdictions, such as USA, Germany, Poland, France, Japan, Portugal, Finland, Switzerland, Greece or Italy.
The study on the public procurement system in Romania was written in November 2022, by reference to the legislation in force on that date.
