VASS Lawyers celebrates five years of activity, growth and performance, during which the firm emerged as one of the most dynamic and innovative law firms in Romania.
The balance of this period shows a constant trend of development, both from the team and practice areas perspective, as well as from the financial one. Thus, in 2013, the firm will continue to record a 20% increase of its turnover comparing to the previous year, the percentage of legal services regarding public procurement, commercial transactions, litigation and arbitrations remaining majority.
The results obtained in these years have reinforced the status of top law firm in the field of public procurement and public-private partnerships. In fact, some of the most important projects in 2013 refer to legal assistance of a major international construction company in participating to public procurement procedures with an aggregate value of over EUR 480 million, the award of oil & gas contracts of over EUR 260 million or the award of a works contract of over EUR 100 million. Thus, during the past years, the law firm has gained the appreciation of international and local forums for its competences in this area, being awarded with “The Public Procurement Advisory Firm of the Year in Romania” by Corporate Intl Magazine Global Award, ACQ Country Awards, Global Law Experts and AvocatNet.
